“Boss”, the team captain, has shined as the team’s leading goal scorer for three straight seasons. Dave sets an example for the team as a quiet but effective leader on and off the ice, with a commendable balance of control and passion for the game. “Boss” has striking speed, agility and playmaking ability combined with solid balance and unexpectedly hard checking. Although now the number one marked forward on the team, Dave should continue to figure in much of the Dog’s offensive production this season, and is instrumental in the success of special teams on both ends of the ice. Dave is a smart defensive team player as well, finishing second last season in plus/minus and leading the team for two years prior, all the while logging plenty of penalty-kill time.
