The Georgia Ice Dogs defeated South Carolina 8-3 Friday night in Cumming, Ga to advance to the semi-finals of the 2011 SECHC Tournament Cup.

Peter Kacer picked up a hat trick. Goalies Vince DiCarlo and Paul Connors split time, stopping 24 of 27 shots. Georgia will face defending champion Arkansas tomorrow night.
