Players and coaches of the UGA Hockey team greeted fans of all ages at the UGA Bookstore on Saturday, August 18, as part of the annual Picture Day,  the annual UGA Athletics meet-and-greet day.

The UGA Athletic Department has their annual event where fans can meet and take photos with Georgia Bulldog athletes, and this year the campus bookstore has invited the Ice Dogs to join the festivities and greet bulldog and hockey fans inside their main campus store.  Athens sports-talk radio, 960 The Ref,  broadcast from inside the bookstore as well – UGA Hockey and The Ref have recently signed a promotional partnership for 960’s The Morning Show, and Georgia game-day broadcasts.

The team autographed posters and other signed team gear, and took photographs as bulldog fans marveled at the notion that Georgia has a hockey team…yep, for 26 years.  Go Ice Dogs!
