Fans, UGA Hockey is excited to share the linked articles from the Athens Banner Herald reporting on the pending multi-use arena style seating proposal for the Athens Classic Center, which would include seating for over 2,500 and a portable ice rink system capable of hosting UGA Hockey games.

UGA Hockey is excited to be a part of a package in this proposal that will allow the Classic Center the capacity to host such a diverse array of family entertainment, shows and sporting events, and an even broader scope of local, regional, and national events and competitions that the arena style seating and capacity will provide. We of course are excited about the thought of holding UGA Hockey games in Athens at the Classic Center as part of the wide range of family entertainment that the proposal would bring to Athens.
