The UGA Ice Dogs open the second half of their season this Sunday at 2:00pm at the IceForum in Duluth, GA when they take on the Auburn Tigers. Georgia is hoping to avenge their loss to Auburn earlier in the season on the ice and get some positive momentum for the upcoming Savannah Hockey Classic. Additional depth for the Dawgs should help as several players return to the lineup from injury and several new players have been added to the roster. “It’s good to see more healthy bodies on the ice,” senior forward Peter Kacer noted at Wednesday’s team practice. “We always play better when we are more fresh coming off the bench.” Auburn will be ready to take on Georgia after they travel to Clemson on Friday and Saturday nights before coming to Duluth to face off against the Bulldogs Sunday afternoon.
Tickets are $5 at the door, only $2 for students.
