UGA Hockey is back this weekend with a two-game home stand versus Florida State Seminoles Ice Hockey Friday and Saturday. The Ice Dogs took on the Noles twice last season, opening with one shootout loss and closing with a decisive 10-4 win and a raucous line brawl in January. After a heated third period against Citadel last Sunday, things could get interesting.

Florida State opened their season last weekend against Palm Beach State College, dropping the first game on Friday and picking up the win on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Ice Dogs are 5-1 going into the series and looking to continue their impressive winning streak from last weekend, which included a hat trick per game.

Both games will take place at the Athens Classic Center Arena; doors open at 6:30 p.m. and puck drop is at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.classiccenter.com, or at the Box Office, located at the Classic Center.
