Ice Dawgs Unveil 20th Anniversary Savannah Tire Hockey Classic Jersey
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Savannah Tire Hockey Classic, prompting the Ice Dawgs to debut a special edition jersey to commemorate the occasion. The threads, made by Black Biscuit Hockey, will pay tribute to Savannah by featuring the names of the historic Savannah squares, watermarked on the front and back of the jerseys. In keeping with tournament tradition, the Ice Dawgs along with jersey sponsor BELFOR Property Restoration, will be visiting with the children and their families at Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital of Savannah on Friday morning. In addition, we are proud to display the hospitals name on the jersey sleeve to bring awareness to the vital services that they provide throughout the community.
This year’s Savannah Tire Hockey Classic is taking place on January 12th and 13th. Both Georgia games will be at 8:30 P.M. against Florida and Georgia Tech, respectively. During the Georgia Tech game on January 13th, there will be a silent auction held allowing fans to bid on these special edition jerseys. Proceeds will go to help support the Ice Dawgs season and post season play.
