As the team prepares for the College Hockey South, Amateur Athletic Union College Hockey and SECHC tournaments, the UGA Hockey Foundation wants to extend their sincerest congratulations to the team for a successful regular season.
The University of Georgia hockey team ended the 2023-2024 regular season with a record of 16-5-1.
College Hockey South Playoffs
This weekend, February 9 and 10, the Ice Dawgs will compete in the CHS playoffs.
In the first matchup, the Ice Dawgs will face South Carolina for the third time this season. Puck drop for the first game of the playoffs for the Ice Dawgs will be at 7pm in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Amateur Athletic Union College Hockey National Championship
The AAU College Hockey National tournament will take place in West Chester, Pennsylvania from March 6 to 13.
According to the AAU website, this year’s national tournament will be the largest National Championship event in their history and the largest Collegiate Athletic Event in North America. The tournament will feature 48 universities and colleges, playing more than 85 games in 7 days.
Pool play for the men’s division I will start on March 6 and the National Champions will be crowned on March 10.
Exciting things are ahead for the Ice Dawgs with the building of a new arena in Athens, Georgia. With only three home games held in Athens this season, the loss of operating revenue has negatively impacted the team’s finances, compared to past seasons.
